  The guy at Bally's who sings along with the music being played. He sings Really Loud and Really Bad.

  Tailgaters. Especially when my kids are with me.

  The word retard being used to describe a person who has no excuse for being a dumb ass.

  The biotches who scream at the cashiers because something didn't ring up correctly and make the rest of us listen to their pathetic behaviour.

  People partying at 3 am by my window and Then not understanding why the next day, I am asking as politely as possible to keep it down at night.

  She reminded me of a woman in the hall I went to. Hysterical at times and zealous to a point that it scared a person.

  Is it just me, or did she at times sound/look like Sam Kinison?

  i must be in a bad mood the last couple weeks on this board.

  i see people that a critical and mean.

  yes i even do this, but only in self-defense and not proud of it either.

  maybe this is not the best place for me to research topics of discussion.

  Leolaia, maybe those that aren't interested in reading the posts of a particular person on this board (or any other for that matter) should just refrain from reading those comments if they are that upset by them. Just a thought.

  This board is made up of so many different personalities, not everyone is going to get along perfectly or agree with one another on any given day. Sometimes eehs a good day udder times naht so good.

  And I, like others round here, tend to think that as dubs we were trained to be intolerant. Be it over the way a person posts, what they have to say or what they believe. It can be a tough habit to break.

  love this show!!!!!! I am hooked on this one too.

  Well, McDreamy and George and Burke are just so darned irresistable. At first I was wondering if Mark was going to plant a kiss on Meredith when they were sitting there at the bar. It was looking like it. And yeah, I thought the same thing: what if Addison walks in?! It'll be interesting to see what happens this week. I can't help but think that despite what people say, you are going to believe that MM is the Christ. Which is really no skin off my back.   Genealogy/Family History

  i'd like to do a genealogy/family history.

  after talking to older family members where is a good place to start?

  any suggestions?.

  Oooh genealogy fun! I have been researching mine for a few years now. Here is a bit that I've learned:

  Obtain copies of birth/death certificates of your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles etc. You might have to contact local gvt offices to do so and pay a small fee, but it can be worth it.

  Using maiden names and dates start googling. Message boards are helpful as well. Church records. For me: I figured out pretty quick that my great grandparents were Catholic so I contacted the Church that would most likely have been the one they attended and got copies of baptismal certificates.

  I finally located one part of my family that goes back to the 16th century in France.

  good luck and have fun (it can take a while to get anywhere solid, but it's worth it!)

  sick kids

  aaack.... my oldest (almost 6) is pretty sick guys.. took her to the doc the other day to find out she has pneumonia.

  she is absolutely miserable.. the doc put her on zithromax and gave her some cough syrup (w/ codeine) to help her rest.. hubby and i doing our best at not getting sick.

  this is the daughter w/ the down's.

  There's some tough stuff going around. After the 4 of us got done with the flu, our older child (12) came down with a vomiting-and-diarrhea virus on Monday. She NEVER gets sick and this is twice in one month!

  Our family dr mentioned at her initial appt last week that she's been seeing alot of bad stuff this season.

  I hope that your 12 yr old is ok!? Twice in one month is a lot. Is she doing better yet?

  Ok, well, just in case anyone was wondering....

  She's still sick, although her spirits are up and it seems like the Zithromax is helping. Still coughing, but not nearly as bad. Sleeping through the night much better. She's mostly getting annoyed that she's stuck in the house w/ her little 31/2 yr old sister. lol

  She's sleeping right now, last night was a little tough, but the nights before that she was doing pretty good.

  Thanks to all for the prayers and thoughts.

  I felt sorry for Addison when she heard McDreamy say to the ex-best friend, "I haven't forgiven her but I don't even owe it to you to try."

  I honestly thought she would show up to meet with Mark.

  George and Meredith? I love McDreamy, but he wasn't honest with her in the beginning and he has kept her hanging on. George has been a sweet heart to her. Besides George has those sweet puppy dog eyes.

  How Do YOU View Ex Elders On This Board?

  do you think that if a person was an elder that when he comes on these boards, he still thinks and acts like an elder??

  Do you think that if a person was an elder that when he comes on these boards, he still thinks and acts like an elder???

  First, they needed to be thought of as individuals, not just a group of ex elders. Second, what does an elder act like? I have known great, loving elders who honestly cared about the people in the hall. They'd go completely out of their way to make sure that those that were sick and elderly received the help they needed . But I've also known elders who are bigots and a**holes who cared more about the 'club' then they did the people . So, that being said: The posts that I have read of the ex elders on this board tell me that these guys are pretty genuine and cool. If I were to meet a former elder who still carried an attitude that was, well, not nice... I figure like this: Old habits can die hard and people grow and change. We need to have patience with each other. I hope that people would (will) have patience with me as I learn and grow, so I figure it's best to have patience with others as they do the same. Hey they're here for a reason right? meagan
